Noman del Mar performed the first performance in the full length we hear today with this stunning performance by the RSNO under Martin Yates, no wonder it was named disc of the month when released.
I hope Yates and the RSNO plan to record more of Arnell's Symphonies especially the Fifth which for those Arnell fans who can't wait will be released on Toccata Classics by the Musica Nova under Warren Cohen sometime in the Autumn.
I believe they plan to record all of the symphonies so it will be interesting to compere the Third Symphony by the two orchestras.
Long may Arnell reign as Britain's greatest living composer of Symphonies.(Sorry Sir Malcolm).
